KO LAE COLLECTION is furniture combining several branches of handicraft artisans, including TOUCHABLES’s furniture carpenters and SANSANRD’s weavers from the Southern Thai community. This creative collaboration has turned out unique, beauteous southern style handiwork through the shapes, patterns, and colors of the floating artist communities. Pandan handwoven mat style patterns are here simplified, yet retaining their bright and colorful identity, whilst boat shaped forms are given a modern streamlined application.
